§ 10.12.020. Restricted parking.

  • It is unlawful for the operator of a vehicle to stop, stand, or park such vehicle, except in the case of emergency or on the direction of a police officer, as follows:

    A.

    In a "No Parking" area marked and designated by signs and/or yellow street curbs;

    B.

    In an alley for any purpose or period of time longer than is necessary for expeditious loading or unloading;

    C.

    Double parked for any purpose or period of time other than is necessary for expeditious loading or unloading;

    D.

    Between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on Friday mornings in areas so marked and designated with "Sweeping" signs;

    E.

    From November 15 to February 28 between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. each day in areas so marked and designated with "Snow Route" signs;

    F.

    Closer than fifteen (15) feet to a fire hydrant;

    G.

    On or across a pedestrian crosswalk, sidewalk, pathway, or driveway;

    H.

    In a marked and designated loading area for any purpose or period of time longer than is necessary for expeditious loading or unloading; or

    I.

    On city boulevards (for the purpose of this ordinance defined as the strip set aside for lawn, decorative rock, shrubbery and like improvement between a sidewalk and the curb) for any purpose or period of time.
