§ 5.16.100. Denial, suspension or revocation.

  • The city may deny any application for a license, and the city may suspend or revoke the license of any transient vendor for any cause including but not limited to:

    A.

    Refusal to supply the city with a completed application form and/or the application fee;

    B.

    Fraud or misrepresentation in application, violation of any provision of this chapter in the course of carrying on the vending business, violation of any local ordinance or state or federal laws;

    C.

    Conduct of the transient vendor in such a manner as to create a public nuisance, or constitute a danger to the public welfare, morals, health, and safety including but not limited to fire hazards, safety hazards, and obstructions to vision, traffic, or pedestrian movement;

    D.

    Failure to provide proof of insurance as required in Section 5.16.040(A).
